Tips for Growing Herbs at Home

Posted on

What do herbs really need to grow?

Luckily the list is very short for you to get started: Sunlight, soil, & good drainage — that's it! If you have those things, you’re off to a great start!

But how are you supposed to pick which herbs to grow?

We always suggest starting with herbs that regrow every year! Things like parsley, rosemary, or thyme are always great herbs to start with, and then grow your garden from there {no pun intended 😉}

Using homegrown herbs is more sustainable and cheaper in the long run. Why wouldn’t you want to cook with herbs right out of your own garden?!

Tip: If you harvest a little bit at a time, you’ll see the best long term results.
