Time Change Tips & Tricks

Fall Back Reminder Clock

It's that time of the year again! This year, the time changes on November 5th, which means we get an extra hour of sleep but lose an hour of daylight. While many people welcome the extra hour of sleep, adjusting to the new time can be a challenge for some.

At Farm to Fit, we understand how important it is to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. That's why we've put together some tips to help you adjust to the time change.

First, start by gradually adjusting your sleep schedule. In the days leading up to the time change, go to bed and wake up 15 minutes earlier each day. This will help your body get used to the new schedule and make the transition smoother.

Second, make sure you are getting enough sunlight during the day. Exposure to sunlight helps regulate your body's internal clock, which can be disrupted by the time change. Try to spend some time outdoors during the day, even if it's just for a few minutes.

Third, pay attention to your diet. The time change can disrupt your eating schedule, which can throw off your body's internal clock. Stick to a regular eating schedule and make sure you are eating a balanced diet. You can also eat fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and vitamins and supplements to maintain your energy that can last throughout the day.
